To help devotees seeking quick darshan, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) is set to launch a new Jammu to Sanjhi Chhat helicopter service, expected to begin in the first half of June 2025. The service will drop yatris at the Panchhi Helipad, just 2.5 km from Bhawan, offering easy access for darshan.

Two special booking packages have been introduced:

• Same Day Return (SDR) – ₹35,000


• Next Day Return (NDR) – ₹50,000

Those opting for SDR will receive:

DGCA Approves Route

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved helicopter flights between Jammu and Bhawan. Meanwhile, the Shrine Board is working to ensure a smooth and comfortable yatra experience for devotees.

Note: The regular helicopter price from Katra to Sanjichhat remains at ₹2,100 per person (one-way).
